How does the stirrer work?
It's completely hands-free. Set it in your pot or pan, press the button, and pick one of three speeds — it rotates on its own, forward and in reverse, to keep your food moving so you can step away and handle everything else.
What kind of batteries does it take?
It runs on standard AA batteries (not included) — no special or rechargeable pack to track down. Just pop them in and you're ready to go.
What can I make with it?
It's a natural fit for anything that needs steady stirring on the stovetop — pasta and tomato sauces, gravies, soups, and other simmering dishes. Anywhere you'd normally have to stand and stir, it takes over.
How much liquid should be in the pot?
It works best in a shallow layer of simmering liquid, around two inches. Keep the liquid below the motor housing at the top — the base is what rests in the pot, and the motor should never be submerged.
How do I clean it?
The stirring base detaches from the motor unit for easy cleaning. Rinse or wipe the base, and keep the motor housing dry with just a damp cloth.
